On 10th of January 2015,
5-membered group called B1A4 had successfully held their special fanmeeting in
Kuala Lumpur. The fans can be seen waiting at the venue as early as 8am and
continued to gain numbers as the time for the fanmeeting to start came nearer. Although
it was quite an uncomfortable sight before the event starts, it went smoothly
and various segments were included to make sure everyone enjoyed the show.
The
showcase started off with B1A4’s debut track, Ok!, which received a warm
screams from BANA (the official fanclub name). Even with 5 members, their stage
presence was big and able to attract the fans to scream and sing along while
they were performing. They then performed their next song, Beautiful Target.
The shouts from BANA began to get louder and the boys began to sing more
energetically as well.
They
continued by introducing theirselves and Sandeul even used Malay to introduce
himself. He then said that he was concerned about the recent flood that hit
Malaysia and stated they came to Malaysia to see if their fans were okay. They
went for a short rest and continue with their third performance, Lonely. It was
a slow song with graceful choreography. Fan chants managed to make the boys to
smile proudly, as if they were happy with their performance as well as with
their beloved BANAs.
They
began to relax a little more with their forth song, If. With no specific
choreography, the boys were cluttered on the stage and interacted with the fans
while singing to the song. The atmosphere was really at the peak, as fans
finished warming up with their performances.
The
event continued with a Q&A session, where fans had prepared the questions
on post-it notes before they entered the hall. The lucky fans whose questions
got picked were selected to go onstage and interacted with the boys according
to their questions. A fan who got picked requested for his mother to be hugged
by CNU, wittily said that she had been waiting for 42 years to see CNU. The
session ended with a game that parodies special moments from certain dramas
like My Love From The Star, The Heirs, and more.
They
went into a short break again and continued with their next song, Pretty. It
was an upbeat song and had some fans to dance along with them. They then
continued with Solo Day, their latest song. The show continued with the boys
performing A Glass of Water, What’s Happening, and a short video of the boys
wishing good night was played before their last song, Baby Goodnight.
The
highlight of the event was the hi-touch session with the fans. Fans that were eligible
for the session patiently lined up and had a little interaction with the boys
onstage. They looked equally happy to be able to meet each other. The show was
nearing to the end, so B1A4 performed You Are My Girl as encore. Fans were
screaming for them not to leave, but still enjoyed the encore. The rapper,
Baro, was seen spraying water from the bottle to the fans.
The
fanmeeting finally ended, and all fans were asked to leave the venue besides
VVIP fans who’re eligible for photo sessions. Overall, the event was a success
despite some minor problems. K-Empress would like to extend our appreciation to
