[Coverage] K-Much 1st Showcase in Malaysia Press Conference

On 15th January of 2015, a four-membered group from Chrome Entertainment, K-Much, was finally in Malaysia. Dubbed as the male version of Crayon Pop, the previously five-member group consisted of Kiu (leader), Bornus, G.Low (rapper), and Ato.

K-Much was in Malaysia for a week-long showcase tour organized by New Pro-Star and sponsored by Quill City Mall, Mahkota Parade, Silka Cheras, Dubu Dubu Seoul Food as their official restaurant, and also YG & Epop magazines.

We were invited to the press conference that was held in Neway Karaoke, One Utama, at 4pm. The emcee of the day was Stephy Chong. It started with short introduction by emcee before the boys made their entrance for the conference.

Some questions have been asked and K-MUCH members answered to each one of them. Below are the list of questions being asked and the answers by the boys:

Ato

Q: How did you decide to be a Kpop idol?
G.low:  I lived in the US for 5 years before coming back to Korea to pursue my dream as a rapper.
Kiu: I received full support from my family to be an idol.
Bornus: I really love to dance and was a back-up dancer for Crayon Pop. After that, I auditioned and accepted to be a part of this group.
Ato: My mother used to dream of becoming an artist, so I am here to fulfil her dream by being one.

Bornus

Q: What do you want to do in Malaysia?
G.low: I really want to go to the beach. It is very cold in Korea right now, so it would be great to visit the beaches here.
Ato: I really want to visit the night markets in Malaysia. They seem different from the ones in Korea. While on the way to our hotel, we saw night market alongside the road, so I really want to go there.

Kiu

Q: Ato seems a little bit quiet. Is he usually doesn’t speak that much?
G.low: No. He is not quiet but he just acts like one.

G.Low

Q: Is there any special thing you prepared for Malaysia fans?
Ato: We prepared some special performances for the showcase. We also brought some gifts from Korea.

Q: Can you show us your personal talents?
G.low: *impersonates Louis Armstrong*
Kiu: *sings an English song*
Bornus: *dances to Sunmi’s 24 Hours*
Ato: *sings Gwiyomi song*

The conference ended with a photo session with the sponsors and medias. We would like to extend our appreciation to New Pro-Star for inviting us to the event.
