SPEED drama version MV

SPEED had been gaining a lot of attentions from the public for their drama version MV for “Sad Promise” and “It’s Over” that deal with the 5.18 Gwangju Democratization Movement. The dramatic music video for “Sad Promise” is reported to have production costs of over 750 million won (~$700,574 USD).

The drama version MV features actors Park Bo Young, Ji Chang Wook, Ha Seok Jin, and A Pink‘s Na Eun, as well as Choi Ji Yeon, Kim Young Ho, Choi Minah, and Jung So Young.

The MV, in our own opinion, open the eyes of the fans outside of Korea about the history of Korea because let's be truthful to ourselves, some of us must have googled on the history of the country after looking at the MV. For us, when we saw the date of the death of Ji Chang Wook and Ha Seok Jin's character, we googled out the date and found out right away about the 5.18 Gwangju Democratization Movement.

Though the drama version of Sad Promise and It's Over is only 28:09(combined) but the MV managed to make our eyes tearful looking at the actors' pain as they had to face the death of their beloved friends and family. It does make me feel a bit touched by the sacrifices they made for their country as well.

SPEED which was part of the group Coed school debuted after two years, after going through member changes. Current members which includes Yoosung, Sung Min, Taewoon, Jong Kook and new members, Tae Ha and Sejoon debuted on M! Countdown with "It's Over" on the 17th of January.
